Saif Sporting Club returned to winning ways in the Bangladesh Premier League after handing relegation-battled NoFeL Sporting Club a convincing 3-0 defeat at Shaheed Bulu Stadium in Noakhali on Tuesday.

Saif Sporting, who started the game without their suspended captain-cum-midfielder Jamal Bhuiyan and defender Asaduzzaman Bablu, went ahead early in the game thanks to their in-form Colombian forward Deiner Cordoba’s goal with five minutes into the clock.

Young midfielder Faysal Ahmed Fahim doubled the lead two minutes into the second half before Uzbek midfielder Otabek Zokirov sealed the victory in the 69th minute.

Despite the victory Saif Sporting remained at fourth in the table with 44 points from 22 matches while Nofel remained at the relegation zone with 16 points from 22 matches.
